VisNetic MailServer provides Enterpise level companies and Internet Service
Providers a stable,
secure, and
scalable mail server to handle
the demands of customers, as well as the demands of the company itself.
Built as a multithreaded application,
VisNetic MailServer offers true speed and stability enhancements that offer
performance not found in other email servers. The
High Speed Memory Mode* places
account information into the server computer's RAM. This gives the mail
processor nearly instant access to the accounts, making VisNetic MailServer
even faster. By processing more than one task at a time, VisNetic MailServer
realizes significant gains in efficiency.
Support for Multiple CPUs also
allows MailServer to utilize several different processors at one time,
creating better load sharing
and resulting in improved handling times. By creating a more stable server
environment, VisNetic MailServer is able to improve handling times while
staying online far more consistently.
Security features in VisNetic MailServer protect an organization and its
customers. With AntiSpam and
AntiRelay features, VisNetic
MailServer is guarded against unauthorized use as a spam relay. Keep the
email system up and running, without having to defend it against watchdog
organizations or recover from relaying attacks.
VisNetic MailServer also supports the
VisNetic AntiVirus Plug-in. By placing AntiVirus at the mail server
level, every account holder is protected from malicious, harmful email born
virus attacks, without any intervention at the user level.
Multiple Domain Support, built
standard in VisNetic MailServer, allows for the management of several
different domains email needs on one server computer. By sharing the email
of many clients on one email server, overhead is minimal.
Customers get several levels of access with
Multiple User Types. While an
Administrator is the only type
authorized to oversee all of the functions of VisNetic MailServer,
Domain Administrators can be
set up at a customer level to maintain a specific domain. Users can also be
established as Self-configurable
or Standard.
With List Serve abilities and
Mailing List features, VisNetic
MailServer makes light work of large scale messaging management.
ODBC support* allows
administrators to import databases in order to quickly create mailing lists,
users lists, etc.
Also Standard in VisNetic MailServer is
VisNetic WebMail, a web-based
email client that allows account holders to access their email, as well as
compose and send new messages. By default,
secure (SSL) connections are supported
by WebMail. Any standard web browser on an Internet enabled computer will
support WebMail, and since WebMail is on the mail server,
messages are kept off of local
computers, keeping customer email safe and secure.
Complete with built-in, multilingual support, including English, Spanish,
French, German, and more, VisNetic WebMail is an international/global email
retrieval system. A WAP server
included in WebMail also makes retrieval via cell phones and PDAs possible.
