AntiVirus Scanning Exclusions

There may be times when you want to exclude a site from virus scanning.

How To

To configure AntiVirus:

  1. Use the AntiVirus settings... command from the Setup menu. This displays the AntiVirus tab of the Content Filter dialog.
  2. Use the Configure Exclusion command button to display a dialog.
  3. For destination exclusions, enter full or partial addresses for ...messages BOUND for these addresses. Wildcards, such as *@domain.com are okay. Then use the Add command.
  4. For source exclusions, enter full or partial addresses for ...messages FROM for these addresses. Wildcards, such as *.domain.com are okay. Then use the Add command.
  5. Remove an address from either category by selecting it from the list and using the Remove command button.
  6. Activate the check box to add a warning to the top of infected messages.
  7. Use the OK command button to save the settings and exit from the dialog.
