Create IMAP Account for Messages Stored in Gateway

Introduction

This account can be used the view the messages before they are forwarded to the receiving host or account.

Requirements

You need to have an ID and password for the account.

How To

The instructions begin with the MDaemon administration application running.

  1. Use the Edit Gateway... command from the Gateways menu. This displays a dialog for selecting an existing gateway.
  2. Select a gateway and use the OK command button to display the Gateway Editor dialog for the gateway.
  3. Enter the Mailbox (logon) name and the password in the appropriate text boxes.
  4. Use the OK command button to save the settings, create the gateway and exit from the dialog.
  5. To verify the account creation you can log in to the account using WorldClient .
