MDConfig Installation

Introduction

MDConfig is an optional component of the MDaemon installer. It allows you to remotely configure MDaemon servers.

Requirements

Recommended hardware specifications are:

• Pentium III 500 MHz or higher processor
• Internet Explorer 4 or higher
• 256 MB of memory (512 MB recommended)
• Microsoft Windows 9x/ME/XP/NT/2000
• TCP/IP network
• Hard disk space: 30MB
• Internet or Intranet communication capabilities

How To

These are abbreviated instructions. Another HOWTO contains complete instructions for installing MDaemon.

1. Navigate to the downloaded installer and open it to display the installation wizard.
2. If you agree with the license agreement, click on the I Agree command button.
3. Select the installation directory and use the Next command button.
4. Enter the name of the person or company holding the license, plus the name of the distributor. These are for documentation purposes. Use the Next command button.
5. Activate the check box for MDaemon client for remote configuration services, plus any or all of the other components you want to install.
6. Continue with the installation.
