MDaemon Remote Startup Using WebAdmin

Introduction

You can start a server remotely by using WebAdmin.

Requirements

WebAdmin must be installed for the MDaemon you want to start.

You need a TCP/IP connection to the remote machine and administrative access to WebAdmin.

How To

The instructions start at the Windows desktop:

1. Open a web browser and enter the IP address or URL of the WebAdmin for the MDaemon you want to start.
2. Enter your ID and password and use the Sign In command button. WebAdmin opens on the Status page.
3. Use the Start link to start the remote server.
4. To verify the startup, enter the IP address or URL of the MDaemon you just started. You should see the signin screen if the email server is running.
